Test Preparation Guide

General Instructions:

• All our services require a scheduled appointment, except X-ray, which is provided on a walk-in basis at select locations.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment with your valid health card, and your signed requisition if you have it. Need to renew your health card?
• If applicable, bring a list of your medications and instructions from your referring healthcare provider.
• We may request your height and weight to ensure our facilities are suitable for the testing required.
• If you have mobility concerns, please ask your caregiver to accompany and assist you.
• Please be considerate of other patients who are waiting for urgent healthcare appointments and provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. A missed appointment will be charged a cancellation fee and your referring healthcare provider will be notified. 
• We will send your diagnostic report to your referring healthcare provider, who will follow up with you to review the results. We can send it to additional healthcare providers upon your request.

Bone Density Instructions:

• Do not take calcium/vitamin supplements for 24 hours before your exam.
• If you have had a nuclear medicine dye injection or a barium study within the past 2 weeks, please reschedule your BMD test.
• Patients are asked to wear clothing without zippers or metal attachments.
