No woman looks forward to a pelvic ultrasound. After the health crisis I’ve lived through over the last two years — spine surgery, two knee surgeries after tearing my ACL, skin cancer, and going from an elite athlete coach to needing a walker — I delayed this appointment for six months because I truly did not want to go. I specifically chose WELL Health based on the location and reviews, and I can honestly say it was a five-star experience during what can feel like a very vulnerable and invasive medical procedure. My ultrasound technician was professional, kind, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire appointment. For the first time ever during one of these scans, I was told that if I felt uncomfortable at any point, we could pause or stop completely. That simple act of giving me control and involving me in the process made such a difference. I’ve had a lot of medical appointments over the years, and this was genuinely the best experience I’ve ever had with an ultrasound technician. Compassion and professionalism matter, especially when patients are already carrying fear, trauma, or exhaustion into the room. Thank you for making a difficult appointment feel safe and dignified.
